It starts the way most good Singapore hotel stories do — with a pool you didn't expect and a rate you didn't think was possible.

Accor's Explorer membership has quietly pushed out one of its better Singapore rate runs of the year. Several properties in the current batch rarely discount at all. A few of them are genuinely worth building a weekend around.

Raffles Sentosa: the one to move on quickly

The private villa resort on Sentosa is the headline, and the booking window closes 15 May. Raffles Sentosa is not a property that bends on price as a rule — it is the kind of place people book for anniversaries and milestone birthdays, and the rates reflect that. When member pricing appears, it disappears fast.

If a pool villa on Sentosa has been sitting in the back of your mind, this is the window to act on it.

The city properties

For those who prefer the urban version of luxury, Swissôtel The Stamford is offering a stay package with Marina Bay views. It is one of those hotels that never quite goes out of fashion — the location is impossible to beat for a city base, and the views from the upper floors on a clear evening are still quietly spectacular.

Pullman Singapore Hill Street has 40% off through June — a neighbourhood that has improved significantly over the last few years, with the National Design Centre and the surrounding streets making it a genuinely pleasant place to spend a morning before check-out.

Mama Shelter Singapore offers the same 40% discount with a slightly more irreverent personality. It is a design-forward property that punches well above its category, and at reduced rates it becomes one of the better mid-luxury options in the city.

The longer-stay option

Novotel Living Singapore Orchard is running 50% off with a booking window through May. The Orchard address and the apartment-style layout make it the obvious pick for anyone staying longer than a weekend — families, relocations, or the kind of trip where you actually want a kitchen and the illusion of not living in a hotel room.

A competition worth entering

Accor is also running a short competition: in 25 words or less, share why you would love to win a stay at Sofitel Singapore Sentosa. The prize is a Junior Suite night with breakfast for two, afternoon tea at LeBar, a three-course dinner at The Cliff, and 10,000 Reward points — valued at around SGD 1,200. It is a low-effort entry for a high-quality prize.
